The women’s ministry at our church is a welcoming place where ladies of all ages can come together to grow in faith, encourage one another, and build lasting friendships rooted in Christ. Life can often feel overwhelming with busy schedules, family responsibilities, personal struggles, and everyday challenges, but our gatherings provide a meaningful opportunity to slow down, connect, and find strength through God’s Word and the support of other Christian women.
Our ladies gather on the first and third Sunday of each month at 6:30 PM for a time of fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. These evenings are designed to create a warm and uplifting atmosphere where women can openly share life’s joys and struggles while growing deeper in their walk with Christ. Whether someone is new to Bible study or has been studying Scripture for years, every woman is welcomed with kindness, grace, and acceptance.
One of the special parts of our women’s ministry is the variety of Bible studies selected throughout the year. The ladies prayerfully choose a new book or study for each semester, allowing the group to explore different topics and deepen their understanding of Scripture from multiple perspectives. Recent studies have included “Isaiah” by Melissa Spoelstra, which guided the ladies through powerful lessons of hope, trust, and God’s faithfulness. Another recent study, “Jesus of Muhammad? A Question of Assurance” by Steven Masood, encouraged meaningful conversations about faith, truth, and the assurance believers can have through Jesus Christ. The ladies also studied “Respectable Sins” by Jerry Bridges, a thought-provoking study that challenged participants to examine areas of spiritual growth and daily obedience in their lives.
Of course, fellowship is also an important part of the ministry. Along with regular Sunday evening meetings, the ladies occasionally gather for breakfast at local restaurants throughout the community. These relaxed outings create additional opportunities for conversation, laughter, and building stronger relationships outside the church setting. Sharing a meal together allows women to connect on a deeper personal level while continuing to encourage one another in faith and friendship.
The women’s ministry also enjoys attending conferences and special Christian events throughout the DFW area. These conferences provide opportunities for worship, teaching, inspiration, and spiritual renewal. Attending these events together helps strengthen bonds within the group while exposing the ladies to powerful biblical teaching and encouragement from respected Christian speakers and authors. Many women return from these conferences refreshed, motivated, and excited to continue growing spiritually.
